We are so appreciative of the support we’ve received from the community during this crisis. We need your donations now, more than ever. Our organization is primarily funded by sales from retail stores, fueled by your donations. What we don’t turn into revenue for mission work, we responsibly recycle.

Just like we need you, we know our community needs us now, more than they ever have before. We are doing everything we can to make sure we’re able to survive this crisis to continue delivering on our mission of helping people with disabilities and barriers reach their goals and improve their quality of life.

Donating Information:

Goodwill employees will remain behind the bins and will be unable to help transfer your donations at this time. Please keep this in mind as you may want to wait to bring large items until a later date.

Be patient and observant to those around you. We ask that you wait your turn to drop your items and always keep at least 6 feet of distance from those around you.

We need your donations now, more than ever, as we prepare to gradually re-open our retail stores again. Your donations help us fund our mission work. In addition, we work hard to keep unused items and donations out of local landfills, making our community a better place to live, work and play. Thank you, again, for continuing to donate to us. We know this has been a difficult time for many and we are so excited to come together again, even if it has to be from a distance for now.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Donations will be quarantined until at least the next business day before being put out on the sales floor. There is not a proven sanitizing product that works at a large scale at this time, which is why we feel the safest option is to quarantine our donated items.

Option 1:  We have provided labeled bins for each type of donation, such as housewares, clothing, and furniture. You will place your items in the designated bins and retrieve a donation receipt from a nearby table. You will NOT interact with Goodwill staff members during your donation. Please wear a mask when you donate and keep six feet between you and others.

Option #2:  You may stay in your car and a Goodwill associate will get your donation out of your car.

Because you will place the items into the bins and our staff will not be assisting in transferring items, you can place your donations wherever you’d like in your vehicle.

Yes, wearing a mask is required to make a donation in order to keep our staff and community safe. Gloves are not required, but recommended.

All nine of our locations are accepting donations 7 days a week.  Donation hours for most of our stores will be 10 AM – 6 PM  Monday – Saturday and 10 AM – 6 PM on Sunday.  Our McCook location hours will be 11 AM – 6 PM Monday – Saturday and 10 AM – 6 PM on Sunday. We value your donations and ask that you please not leave donations outside in the elements while our stores are closed.

We have created a contact-free process to donate your items and have implemented additional safety protocols that go above and beyond what has been recommended by the CDC.

Donation bins will remain available between the hours of 10 AM and 6 PM for most locations even if it is raining. We value your donations and ask that you please not leave donations outside in the elements while our stores are closed.

Our goal is to resume normal operations as soon as possible.
