Promoting Wellness & Transforming Lives

How We Can Help

Every day we celebrate recovery as we support individuals living with a mental illness or substance use disorder to manage their conditions successfully. We see first-hand recovery is possible. Working through addition, trauma, homelessness, and health issues can feel overwhelming. However, with supportive programs offering education, resources and skills building tailored to each individual circumstance, lives change – people work successfully, volunteer, support others in their recovery, manage mental Health and/or substance use disorders to feel empowered.

Behavioral Health Services provides support to individuals in the recovery process, helping them to create a recovery plan, embrace hope, receive mental and physical healthcare, build skills and successfully live in their communities.

Sam

Success Story

Sam's Recovery Journey

Sam battled drug and alcohol addiction. His family and neighbors called the police multiple times in one month. Sam made the decision to seek inpatient treatment. After completing the program, Sam began working with a Goodwill Community Support Worker to help him transition back into society and help support him in his recovery journey. Instead of going back to the environment that he left and risk relapse, Sam and his community support worker worked together in finding a different apartment and give him the fresh start he needed. Today, Sam has maintained sobriety for the past six months and is working on rebuilding his children’s trust.
