Goodwill is Turning Black Friday...Blue!

As the holiday season begins, Goodwill of Greater Nebraska is giving Black Friday a twist with Blue Friday! Rather than participating in the typical shopping frenzy, you’re invited to experience the thrill of finding sustainable treasures and incredible discounts on second-hand items. Here’s everything you need to know about why Blue Friday is a must this holiday season.

The Blue Tag Sale: Blue Deals Everywhere!

On Blue Friday, keep an eye out for items marked with a blue price tag. These special treasures will be discounted by 10%! This is the perfect opportunity to find unique holiday gifts, update your wardrobe, or get those household essentials—all at an incredible price. Plus, every purchase supports Goodwill’s mission and programs in your community.

Blue Friday Shopping Cart Drawings

In addition to discounts, Goodwill stores will host a shopping cart drawing throughout the day. Each store’s shopping carts will be numbered, and random cart numbers will be drawn at intervals. If your cart number is selected, you’ll receive 25% off your purchase (excluding new goods and gift cards). Every cart has a chance to win, so the more you shop, the more you save!

Sustainability at the Heart of Blue Friday

This Blue Friday, we’re not just focusing on deals; we’re putting the spotlight on sustainability. When you shop second-hand, you’re actively participating in a more eco-conscious choice, reducing waste, and keeping items out of landfills. Goodwill’s unique model of collecting and reselling donated goods gives new life to items, helping reduce the demand for new production and making a tangible, positive impact on our environment.

Celebrate Blue Friday with Us!

Join us on Blue Friday at Goodwill of Greater Nebraska for a day filled with unbeatable deals, shopping cart prizes, and sustainable shopping. Let’s positively impact our community and planet—one blue tag at a time. See you there! Stores open at 9:00 on Friday, November 9.
