Ken Jackson named Vice President of Retail Operations

Goodwill Industries of Greater Nebraska is excited to announce Ken Jackson as the new Vice President of Retail Operations. Ken brings not only a wealth of experience and a passion for serving the community, but also a dynamic leadership approach that aligns with Goodwill's mission of helping individuals with disabilities or barriers achieve their goals.
Bringing Talents and Leadership to Goodwill
In August of 2024, Ken joined Goodwill and quickly embraced his responsibilities, which include overseeing the operation of 10 retail stores, the Shopgoodwill.com e-commerce site, warehouse and transportation, and the management of donated goods and recycling services. His extensive understanding of retail operations makes him a valuable addition to the organization. Brent Johnson, Chief Operating Officer spoke highly of Ken, stating,

A Career Built on Service and Success
Ken's journey to Goodwill is shaped by decades of experience in the retail and convenience industries. Born and raised in South Dakota, Ken began his professional career after receiving an honorable discharge from the US Army. His drive for success led him to hold leadership roles with both Fortune 500 and private companies, including positions as Vice President of Retail & Marketing, Market Leader, an Regional Director or Operations. These roles have equipped him with strategic insight and operational expertise.
Ken's passion of mentoring and giving back to the community has been at the heart of his career, and it remains a priority as he steps into his new role. "My greatest joy and accomplishments have been around coaching, developing, and mentoring people," Ken shared. He is excited to start this new position, and looks forward to contributing to the success of the team and those he serves.
