Shared Living Provider Appreciation Week 2023

November 13, 2023
Shared Living Provider Appreciation Week 2023

The holiday season is a magical time of year when everyone is filled with goodwill and the spirit of giving. In the midst of all the hustle and bustle, it is easy to forget that there are many people who are less fortunate and do not have a place to call home. This is where the Goodwill Shared Living Provider Team comes in. They strive to provide shared living homes for people with disabilities, ensuring they can also experience the warmth and joy of the holiday season.

The Goodwill Shared Living Provider Team

The Goodwill Shared Living Provider Team is a dedicated group of individuals who work tirelessly to create a safe, warm, and welcoming environment for people with disabilities. They believe that everyone deserves a place to call home, and they strive to make this a reality. The team works closely with each individual, understanding their unique needs and ensuring they are met. This level of dedication and care is what sets the Goodwill Shared Living Provider Team apart.

Shared Living Homes: A Ray of Hope

Shared living homes are a beacon of hope for people with disabilities. They provide a safe and secure environment where individuals can thrive and live fulfilling lives. At these homes, residents are not just tenants; they are family. They share meals, celebrate special occasions, and support each other in their day-to-day lives. This communal living arrangement fosters a sense of belonging and helps to alleviate feelings of isolation and loneliness.

The Goodwill Shared Living Provider Team goes above and beyond to make these homes truly special. They ensure that each home is fully equipped with everything the residents need, from comfortable furniture to assistive devices. They also organize regular activities and events to keep the residents engaged and entertained. One such event is the annual Home for the Holidays Customer Appreciation Event.

Customer Appreciation Event: A Home for the Holidays

The Customer Appreciation Event is one of the highlights of the year for the Goodwill Shared Living Provider Team and the residents of the shared living homes. This event is a celebration of the residents and an opportunity for the team to show their appreciation for the support they receive from the community.

This year, the event is scheduled for Thursday, November 16th, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Goodwill Retail Locations in Grand Island, Kearney, and Hastings. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the shared living homes and the work done by the Goodwill Shared Living Provider Team. And of course, no holiday event would be complete without some festive treats! There will be plenty of cider and snack mix to enjoy.

So, come join us at the Customer Appreciation Event and learn more about shared living homes for people with disabilities. Your presence will not only brighten the day of our residents but also help raise awareness about the importance of shared living homes. After all, everyone deserves a Home for the Holidays!
