NIchole's initial goal when she came to Goodwill was to receive disability benefits, but she quickly realized working is a key component to her mental health. Nichole worked diligently with her Employment Specialist to build confidence, problem solve, and create a resume focusing on her skills and talents.

Tim Puts in the Work

Tim initially came to Goodwill because of the concern that family and friends had for the direction in which his life was going. Tim has been attending day services in Goodwill’s Behavioral Health Program.

Goodwill Stores Hosting Trunk or Treat Events

Halloween is almost here, and Goodwill Industries of Greater Nebraska is ready to help you celebrate the holiday and get you into the spooky spirit with our Trunk or Treat events! Four of our retail locations will be hosting Trunk or Treat events perfect for children and adults to enjoy the Halloween festivities.

But that’s not all! If you’re still searching for the perfect costume, our stores have you covered with unique and affordable costume finds! Whether you’re crafting a classic ensemble, piecing together a DIY look, or going all out with a one-of-a-kind spooky character, our stores are packed with clothing and accessories that will bring your costume to life.

Whether you’re picking up treats or piecing together a last-minute outfit, we can’t wait to celebrate the spooky season with you! So gather your little ghouls and goblins and join us at one of our Trunk or Treat events!

Event Details:

  • Columbus: October 18th 5:00-7:00 pm
  • Kearney: October 24th 12:00-2:00 pm
  • Hastings: October 24th 4:30-5:30 pm
  • North Platte: October 26th 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
