NIchole's initial goal when she came to Goodwill was to receive disability benefits, but she quickly realized working is a key component to her mental health. Nichole worked diligently with her Employment Specialist to build confidence, problem solve, and create a resume focusing on her skills and talents.

Tim Puts in the Work

Tim initially came to Goodwill because of the concern that family and friends had for the direction in which his life was going. Tim has been attending day services in Goodwill’s Behavioral Health Program.

New Goodwill Flagship Store Opens

Goodwill Industries of Greater Nebraska is proud to announce the grand opening of its new flagship store in Grand Island, Nebraska. This milestone marks a significant step in Goodwill’s ongoing mission to promote sustainability, provide employment opportunities, and support individuals with disabilities and other barriers in Nebraska.

Located at 2130 Diers Ave, Grand Island, NE, the new store is set to become a hub for community engagement, eco-friendly shopping, and life-changing services.

Grand Opening Event Details

Join us for the grand opening celebration!

  • Date & Time: 9:00 am April 4th, 2025
  • Location: 2130 Diers Ave, Grand Island, NE
  • Special Promotions: The first 100 customers will receive a free "Preferred Customer Card" ($10.00 value) that entitles card holders to save 10% on every purchase at a Goodwill of Greater Nebraska Retail Store until 12/31/2025.

A Bigger, Better Shopping Experience

Spanning 15,000 square feet, this spacious and modern retail store offers an enhanced shopping experience with a wide selection of clothing, home goods, and more. Goodwill’s commitment to sustainability is evident in the use of a previously existing building, reducing environmental impact while repurposing materials for a fresh and inviting store layout.

Community Impact & Goodwill’s Mission

More than just a retail store, this location plays a vital role in supporting Goodwill’s mission. Every purchase made directly funds essential community services, including employment programs, job training, and mental health support.
