Trunk or Treat 2025: Celebrate Halloween with Goodwill!

Join us this October as Goodwill Industries of Greater Nebraska Inc hosts Trunk or Treat events across our retail stores! These family-friendly gatherings offer safe, festive fun while promoting sustainability and strengthening community ties.

At Goodwill, we believe in more than just providing services—we believe in building community. This fall, our Trunk or Treat events will bring together families, volunteers, and local partners for a festive celebration that is as heartwarming as it is spooky.

What is Trunk of Treat?

Trunk or Treat is a family-friendly Halloween event where Goodwill teammates and community partners decorate their car trunks and hand out candy to children in a safe, welcoming environment. It’s a creative twist on traditional trick-or-treating, and it’s become one of our favorite ways to connect with the community.

This year, our parking lots will be transformed into mini Halloween wonderlands, complete with themed trunks, costumes, and treats.

Community Engagement at Its Best

These events are more than just fun—they’re a reflection of our mission.

  • Local businesses joining in with decorated trunks and giveaways.
  • Volunteers from all walks of life coming together to create a safe and joyful experience.
  • Families connecting with one another, sharing laughter and making memories.

At the heart of Trunk or Treat is our commitment to Goodwill Gives Back. These events are part of our broader effort to support and uplift the communities we serve. Whether it’s through job training, donation drives, or festive gatherings like this, we’re here to make a difference.

We’re proud to offer events that are free, inclusive, and open to all, ensuring that every child has the chance to celebrate safely and joyfully.
